BMW X1 4-year Ceramic Coating and Interior Deep Clean
This client is a long-term keeper of their vehicles so wanted the best protection for it. So, they opted for our longest protecting ceramic coating which has made their car look absolutely stunning. This ceramic coating in Flockton was a joy to work on.
As always, there was some paint correction to be completed on this two year old X1. There was wash marring present and minor scratches which were all removed. The paintwork was also chemically decontaminated which can be seen from the pink spots in the photos below. The ceramic was then laid on a perfect finish.
We always discuss with our clients about how they plan on maintaining their vehicle and to make sure a ceramic coating is the right choice for them. This client plans on maintaining the vehicle themselves, so we have provided relevant advice to maintain the coating and they may choose to have a check-in with us on a longer interval basis.
Four years is the longest ceramic coating we provide because we can be realistic with our clients. We believe it’s unsuitable for a vehicle to have a coating any longer than this on a regularly used vehicle.
The wheels benefited from a one-year ceramic coating on the faces to provide some shorter term protection.
Our four year ceramic coating is a two stage application process. The first stage was left overnight in our mobile detailing studio - fully protected from the elements. We then arrived on the second day to completed the second stage and the interior Deep Clean.
The interior was in fairly good condition but we were able to elevate this back to factory fresh, giving protection to interior leather and cleaning out all those tiny areas which accumulate grit. In addition, using the tools and processes at our disposable, this isn’t just a surface level clean. The interior will stay cleaner for longer.
